Your Ceremony
Our intimate spaces welcome civil ceremonies and partnerships in two magical Ceremony Halls. Our stunning Grade 1 listed Lady Margaret Hall is the perfect match for your intimate ceremony that can host up to 60 people, alternatively, our Tudor brick, Henry Dene Hall is our largest and most flexible space, hosting up to 100 people for your ceremony.
Whether you dream of a simple ceremony, a vintage style afternoon tea or glamorous wedding reception, our warm and relaxed atmosphere makes us the perfect locale to celebrate with family and friends.
We understand that every couple is unique and we want to offer you all the options possible to make your dream ceremony become a reality. You may wish to celebrate your commitment of marriage with a civil ceremony, or a humanist ceremony that can be enjoyed and celebrated wherever suits you. Alternatively, you may embrace a traditional church ceremony at your local parish church followed by an evening reception with us at the Priory.

Humanist Wedding Ceremony
A humanist ceremony is a non-religious, non-legally binding wedding led by a celebrant. Unlike a civil wedding, it offers full flexibility in location and personalisation. At the Priory, you can marry anywhere on the grounds, from the Tithe Barn ruins to the canal wharf or medieval halls. You are welcome to get in touch for details on our recommended celebrant.
