Celebrate the very best of Gloucestershire’s food heritage and rural traditions at the beautiful Llanthony Secunda Priory.
Set within the stunning historic grounds of the Priory, this family-friendly open day brings together local producers, traditional entertainment, and hands-on activities for all ages.
What to Expect
- Morris dancing performances
- A fun and interactive Children’s Trail, £2.50 per trail (includes a prize!)
- Our Mini Cheese Rolling Event – a light-hearted tribute to Gloucestershire’s famous custom
- Creative children’s craft workshops inspired by local heritage
We’re delighted to welcome outstanding local producers, including:
- Ross on Wye Cider & Perry Company, sharing their passion and expertise in traditional cider and perry making
- Bath Soft Cheese Co. offering award-winning artisan cheeses
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the makers, sample local produce, and hear the stories behind their craft.

Guided tours will take place at 11am and 2pm, offering visitors the chance to explore the historic buildings and uncover the fascinating history of this remarkable site. Guided Tour tickets cost £8 per person, find out more here.
