Discover Indonesian Batik using hot wax, tie dye & mixed media to create unique fabric art pieces.

Batik is an Indonesian art form similar to silk painting. We will use hot wax and tjantings to create designs with an opportunity to make 2 pieces using tie dying and other techniques as well as mixed materials to make a wall hanging, a cushion cover, tote bag or flag/banner. Fabric dimensions of 50cm x 50cm or 1m x 50cm. 

No previous experience necessary.

Please bring your own packed lunch.

Suitable for 12yrs - adult. 12-16 year olds should be accompanied by an adult.
