Whether you'd like to to give yoga a try, or if you love your yoga already and would like to practice as part of a group, we're offering you a great opportunity to do join yoga classes for free!
Under the guidance of Lara Bricknell you'll discover a range of yoga techniques. The focus is on increasing self-awareness, becoming aware of the way in which your breath flows as you practice, being curious about the sensations in your body and learning to pay attention to the messages your body sends you.
The yoga classes take place every fortnight on a Friday morning in the Brick Range at Llanthony Secunda Priory. Doors are open from 10am, with the class starting at 10.15, finishing around 11.30am. The first class is on Friday 9th October.
The classes are managed in full compliance of the Covid-19 regulations, with special hygiene measures in place. Numbers are limited, so booking is essential. After you've booked your class(es), you will receive an email with a short health questionnaire and instructions.
These classes are part of the Llanthropology project, which organises arts and activities to inspire Gloucester. The Llanthropology project and all of its activities are sponsored by Historic England.
