Join us for another autumnal Open Day at Llanthony Secunda Priory. We’ll be opening our doors from 11am – 3pm. Pre-booked mini-tours of the Lady Margaret Hall will be taking place every half-hour – places are limited so we recommend you book your slot now to make the most of your visit. Volunteers will be on hand throughout the day to answer your questions. As well as having the opportunity to see inside the buildings, we have over five acres of grounds which are free to explore.
It is free to visit the Priory, but we are asking for a suggested donation of £3 for those embarking on a mini-tour. You can donate by cash or card on the day.
Book onto a mini-tour for an exclusive opportunity to view our recent archaeological finds. Discover fragments from an array of objects from glass bottles to pottery, worked stone to bones. Many of the finds date back to the medieval period.
We’ve achieved ‘Good-to-Go’ status from VisitBritain which means we have put measures in place to keep you safe. You'll find changes including one-way systems, hygiene stations, and reducing capacity in our smallest and most difficult to access rooms. We are following all the Government and industry Covid-19 guidelines so visitors must wear a face covering when inside our premises, and all visitors will be asked to sign-in on arrival or check-in on the NHS Covid-19 App.
