Wheels for all are bringing their range of adapted bicycles to Llanthony Secunda Priory as part of the Llanthropology project. This is a great opportunity for anyone who would like to get on a bike, but who may struggle physically or isn't confident enough to ride a standard two-wheel bicycle.
MaryClare will be hosting these sessions, with up to 8 participants per session. There will be two sessions on this day: one from 10.30am-11.30am, and the second from 11.30am-12.30pm.
Anyone can take part: you can be a private individual, or part of a community group or organisation. There will be a range of different bicycles available on the day. For any questions about the bikes, please contact MaryClare directly: firstname.lastname@example.org
These sessions are totally free for all participants. Please note that booking in advance is essential for this activity. You can book tickets via the EventBrite webpage.
All activities will follow Covid-19 regulations, and additional hygiene measures are in place. The cycling will take place within the Llanthony Secunda Priory grounds, which have wide, level paths, ensuring a safe environment. Participants will be able to park on site, and toilet facilities will be available too.
The bikes are provided by Wheels for All, and the activity is supported by the Llanthropology project. This project, funded by Historic England, aims to bring art and activities to inspire local people, improving both physical and mental wellbeing.
