Wheels for all are bringing their range of adapted bikes to Llanthony Secunda Priory as part of the Llanthropology project. This is a great opportunity for those excited about cycling but physically unable or not confident enough to ride a standard two-wheel bicycle. Anyone can take part: you can be a private individual, or part of a community group or organisation.
MaryClare will be hosting this session, with up to 8 participants per session. There will be two sessions on first session on Wednesday 11th November: one session from 11am-12noon, and the second session from 12noon-1pm.
These sessions are totally free for all participants. Please note that booking in advance is essential for this activity; you can book tickets via the EventBrite webpage.
The bikes are provided by Wheels for All, and the activity is supported by the Llanthropology project. This project, funded by Historic England, aims to bring art and activities to inspire local people, improving both physical and mental wellbeing.
All activities will follow Covid-19 regulations, and additional hygiene measures are in place. The cycling will take place within the Llanthony Secunda Priory grounds, which have wide, level paths, ensuring a safe environment.
There will be a range of different bicycles available on the day. For any questions about the bikes, please contact MaryClare directly: email@example.com
